Eudora Pro 4.2

Sep 26, 2004 11:01PM PDT

I am running Windows 2000 along with an email package called Eurodor Pro 4.2. I don't know what happened but somehow I am now missing the Eudora tip file. Everytime I check for mail I get a dialog box telling me "Cannot find Eudora\eudora.tip". My question is can I somehow load just the tip file from the installation disk or do I have to do a complete reinstall? If I can load the tip file, can you tell me how I can accomplish this?

Thanks,
Kathy

What I am looking for is the tips that the Eudora Pro program would provide every time I log in. The error message I get "cannot find C:\Eudora\eudora.tip" is why I am no longer getting these tips. I would like to get them every time I log on. Would creating this file called "eudora.tip" give me these tips automatically or is there something I need to re-install to get them once again.

BTW: Thanks for the quick response earlier!

"Would creating this file called "eudora.tip" give me these tips automatically or is there something I need to re-install to get them once again."

You would have to find and put the file back from Qualcomm. How you do this is up to you. My feedback was how to stop the error message since few actually use the tips past the first week or two. I know a little about Eudora but we no longer use it since 4years ago. I hesitate to say reinstall since it's unclear if your email will survive.
