Question

"ETSY CONVERSATIONS"

Apr 17, 2015 6:53AM PDT

Has anyone ever heard of "Etsy Conversations"? I was just clicking onto an email and instead of the person's name coming up, "Etsy Conversations" came up and then disappeared. Could this be a virus? I'm running a scan right now. Thank you all! This was in an earthlink program.

Answer
Seems similar to other social media.

Could you have unwittingly installed it? Check in add/remove programs for it.

Thank you, that was a good suggestion and I checked my programs even though I've never used Etsy and it isn't there. I had seen the name of the sender, who I know, clicked on the name to open the message. It quickly read "Etsy Conversations" and the words disappeared. The name of the person I know went back on again.

So resolved?
