Ethernet Sending but not Receiving packets. Please help.

I am trying to connect to my universities ethernet. Connection says connected but sends a couple of hundred packets but recieves 0. i am running xp with sp2. pinged 127.0.0.1 says 0% lost. Tried winsock fix but didn't work. Have the latest drivers for intel pro/100 ve network connection. wireless connection works and actual network works using alternative computer. any help would be appreciated.

Seems proper to me.

You may find that you can't use the wireless and wired at the same time.

Thanks. I'm not using both together. I would use the ethernet in preference but using wireless until then. I can't work out why it isn't working.
