Question

Ethernet 15.6.1.3 not working on Aspire E1-571G in Win10

Jul 1, 2016 10:18PM PDT
'Acer Aspire E1-571G' is not listed as compatible to Win 10 in Acer's official site,so despite frequent request from windows I didn't update my Win 8 OS.
2 days ago I forgot to disconnect internet before going to sleep so it somehow got updated to Win 10 after that 'Broadcom Ethernet 15.6.1.3' not working properly, troubleshooting fixes the problem but within 2min problem again arises
When restarted I got DriverPowerStateFailure BSOD then i did Reset & option to go back to Win8.1 vanished
I tried to upgrade & rollback driver nothing worked

Note-I got same problem 2 times before when upgraded to Win10 & lots of BSODs
What's the problem?What should I do?

Answer
Save your files and do a factory restore.

While I'd like to be there to help out as I am getting great upgrades as our company accelerates the upgrades as we are in the last month of "free", I think you need to consider a do over.

Now if you left antivirus or firewalls installed during upgrades or restores I've seen that interfere with the network connections. I've learned to remove that before upgrades or downgrades.
