How do you create this issue?
I do know that KIS2011/2012 may create issues with some things but tell more.
For some reason, etdctrl.exe starts going haywire and taking up high cpu load on my samsung rc512 laptop. I'm up to date with the latest version of the software and driver. I am also up to date with windows 7 64-bit updates. I have to kill the process in order to resolve the issue. When I restart the process, it goes back to normal 0% cpu utilization. Happens several times a day, mostly when I bring the laptop up from sleep mode, but I've seen it happen on normal bootup as well. Google shows other people having the same issue, but no fixes. Elan's - the maker of the touchpad and driver software - web site is useless for support and simply states that you should contact your laptop manufacturer for support issues. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
