any males here growing "man breasts"?
by netsky / November 9, 2004 8:14 AM PST

Ugh! But with the rampant obesity of America plus reality shows about making over personal appearance, them putting on TV commercials touting some poor fatty who bemoans his "man breasts"...

.... are there any people reading here who have had mastectomy?

That is...males are not much more than hormonally modified women.

Genesis, written my mere males, perverts God's creation.

Logic says that EVE was here first. She (god) saw that woman was good, but lonely without a pet to nurture.

Hence SHE created 'man' for Eve.

The man's name might better have been derived from "Eve", for in men we find a androgen induced proclivity to word testosterone-ish evils.

Men have nipples. What for? Little milk of kindness flows from these. Useless as **** on a bull. Whoa! Bulls have nipples, too!

All this is old joshing often heard.

But the set-up is to ask: Do any men here have unwanted breast tissue?

Most certainly YES. Most certainly too, not a one would DARE admit this in public.

Enter netsky- the man who has no dignity. Nothing shames him but undefeatable bullies' bull.

I am lean, have always been lean and muscular in a lean sort of way. One handed pull ups used to be my gym-show-off trick no other could duplicate even for a hundred dollar bill and unlimited time frame by which to match my pull up strenght.

THERE- that's male testosterone talking! The bull talking.

Yet i was a boy at puberty and something not-rare happened when i got that dose of testo-wrest-o at that vulnerable phase. There is estrogen present in males, too. Elevated testosterone can make an opposite reaction; something in the metabolism can cause an estrogen reflex.

In my common sort of case-the bounce back gave me a pair of fat nipples, like a small grape under the nipples.

What shame and it was a depressing horror. When eighteen i had to do something about the shame of mini-man breasts. I showed my dad, reluctantly- he NEVER saw me without a shirt on from age 15, for three years longer. Now he saw why.

My dad was ex Navy medical corps. "Oh, those are nothing, just lipomas".

I was going into service so the bumps had to be removed. That was the only reason i even dared tell my dad.

Whew. Just lipomas. The surgeon explained better: this is genuine breast tissue. We all have it. You shall undergo a bilateral mastectomy, scraping out all the breast tissue and sparing the nipples for appearance sake.

Which he did. I have flat nipples now and no worry of every catching breast cancer. BREAST CANCER in men? Very rare, but it does happen. Especially to men with "man breasts".

An obese man or an elderly man very often develops hormonally triggered growth of breast tissue to full adn fulsome *****. I was no booby boy, just grape sized.

It sure was a shame to a lad, though. The female nurse prepping me for surgury soothed me saying "it is so common! Why just last week we had a Miami Dolphin player for this very same surgury, very same presentment. See, it is no strike against your masculinity.

What she could not say, but i gathered later on, was that the football player was probably a user of synthetic testosterone. "***** ****" is the common side effect, called as such in any gym where men like that wear VERY LOOSE fitting T shirts.

Whew! What a de-dignification of myself again. It did not hurt, either. No hurt like living through the most tender years of manhhood carrying a shame, a humility, given me by Providence.

Any others here? GRINNNNNNNN. NOT Gonna Happen!

Thought this was sinking out of sight
by Steven Haninger / November 9, 2004 8:51 AM PST

I saw this with two possibilites. It could bring a few to come up with some creative quips...perhaps how the tabloids would headline this;

Perhaps some might seize on the source of the estrogen, one of which is birth control pills. Of course some here might want offer that Viagra might neutralize the female pollutants. Time to run for cover! Shocked

The Compleat Angler

call me Iassac Walton for this post.

Sink from site? No way, jose'

It's too much fun to bring up a natural realty to the big-breasted of SE.

Thanks for the idea, my mutual co-operator in making overall good for the public.

Your quip above reminds me of another instance of mass breast enlargement. I cannot find the old news report off hand; it was many years ago.

In brief, pubescent black males in a poor Southern state were presenting with high incidence of breast growth. The cause was revealed to be capitalism: these children ate much poultry meat from farms where the chickens were made plump and fast by a form of estrogen added to the chicken meal.

Here is a quote from a medical paper. It shows that male breast enhancement and enlargement of the prostate gland are inter-related by our female hormone, estrogen.

All males in developed nations are victims of estrogen excess caused by petrochemical exposure, estrogenic hormones given to promote growth of animals, plastics, pesticides, and herbicides, all of which have estrogenic effects in males and females. In males the enzyme aromatase converts testosterone to estrogen. Males getting testosterone by injection may occasionally develop increased estrogen levels because of this enzyme aromatase, whereas males taking testosterone by implants and creams are less likely to develop this problem. Enlargement of the prostate gland in elderly males is probably caused by estrogen excess. Estrogen accumulates in the prostate gland of elderly males beginning at age 50. This estrogen is associated with the degree of prostate enlargement. The risk of benign prostaic hypertrophy is increased in males with high estradiol (potent estrogen) levels and is accentuated in males with low androgen (testosterone) levels. This suggests that measures directed toward ameliorating the estrogen excess might be effective therapy (DIM, progesterone, testosterone).

Elderly men have trouble metabolizing estrogen particularly if they are obese or using alcohol regularly. Breast enlargement in these men is evidence of estrogen excess.

I thought it clever to allude my trollings to the more permanent value of Iaasac Walton's life. Here is a link just found to an interesting capsule of his life. The epitaph at the bottom is particularly beautiful english expression of heartfelt sentiment. A classic. Read Walton's epitaph if you folks do no other good things for yourselves this day

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
