I keep getting this error (Error 1317. Setup cannot create the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Smart Tag\Lists. Verify that the path exists in your system and that you have sufficient permission to update it.) when trying to use the task launcher of MS Works 7.0. I receive the error when the task launcher tries to take me to Work 2002. I followed the path by clicking on these folders. When I click on Smart Tag I get an error that says that the C drive is not formatted would I like to format now. I click on no because that would erase my hard drive I believe. I tried to uninstall Works and Word. Works uninstalled but Word will not I keep getting the error 1317. I tried to repair Word and reinstall Word with the CD but I still get the error. I hope someone can help me. I am using Windows XP. This is a brand new computer.
