Question

Error system32/d3d9.dll when playing the game lost saga

I have a CM1855 asus desktop computer running on windows 8.1.

Everything was fine two days ago then just from no where when i tried to play lost saga again a x-trap window open with: ''CODE FIELD: 08-0400-00000000-544
some functions of the operating systeme has been corrupted. Please, close any program wich affecting game client and restart the sytem. Tool name:
system32/d3d9.dll''

I restarted my computer it didn't work so i searched for solutions but none have worked. I found that it's a Direct X file problem so i tried to reinstall direct x and lost saga but nothing, the error is still there.

If you have any solutions please help me if you need any other system info just ask.

These tend to be a KB fix issue (see second link)

Of a gaffe by the X Trap folk. Since many of these games are money makers, the problem tends to get fixed fast as folk stop buying in game items or ask for refunds. I've yet to find the "one thing" that fixes this one.
