Hi,My comp is about 4yrs old,I've done System State Backups over the years several times, and I always look at a copy of the report afterwards. This time on the report there was this statement that hasen't appeared on any of the other reports. It said ''Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:8004230....Reverting to non-shadow copy backup mode''.All I'm really trying to find out(the bottom line)is,should I be comfortable with this copy of System State Backup..?Are there any known reasons for this Error,?Is the non-shadow copy, just as acceptable as a Shadow Copy,if I should need to Merge it back into the Registry.?The Backup Operation did complete as usual, everything appeared normal, except for the error statement in the report. The report itself went on to include all the same info as usual, including info about Verify Status.Everything appeared as normal except at the beginning where the notice in question appeared.Maybe I could do the backup again in Safe Mode
Thanks for any input............
