I was prompted to restart my computer after a windows update was installed and when my computer was booting back up I got this message
\windows\system32\config\system is missing or corrupt. It said to put in my xp disk and run repair. I did this but it asks me to choose which windows to repair but doesn't give any options. I was told I had to install the recovery console while my pc was working to use this funtion. Any help would be appreciated.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
