If so, put
msvbvm60 into http://www.google.com and go get the Microsoft Visual Basic 6 runtime.
If not, this is a classic symptom of some MALWARE, HIJACKER or other bad software that has tried to install itself on your machine. I would run the FIVE scans and tools I note at http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6132-0.html?forumID=32&threadID=1313&start=0 to find and eject the parasites.
The program STARTER noted in the same link will let you explore startup programs and remove those which you know should not be there.

Hi..On my desktop upon starting my computer up I found an error message that reads: A required DLL file, msvbvm60.DLL, not found. Any suggestions as to how to remedy this error. using operating system Win Me.
