Error Message

Jan 18, 2005 3:42AM PST

Hi there

I attempted to run a couple of older games on my PC (Civilization 2- still the best game ever and Peoples General)but kept running in to this message

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.N.T.The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications. Choose close to terminate the application.

It's only occured in the last month or so. I installed a new virus checker recently but that was about it. The os is Windows XP Home.

Anyway hope someone out there can help.

Cheers
