EVENTX.DLL FILE is linked to missing export COMNCTR.DLL:?SETVALUEDATA@REGENTRY@@QAEJABVCSTRINS@@ABV2@@Z.
Could someone tell me what this means and how to fix it?
Also does anyone know how to reinstall Microsoft Connection Manger? I get this message when trying to download somthing.

Gray,

Just a WAG here, since you didn't tell us anything about your computer such as operating system, etc.,(plus I believe that file name is spelled "Eventex.dll"), do you have a Logitech mouse? If so, try installing the most recent drivers, (or at least reinstalling the drivers) for the mouse.

Hope this helps.

Gray, To Reinstall 'Connection Manager'....
May 14, 2004 4:44AM PDT

...IF you're using Windows 98...

To reinstall Microsoft Connection Manager:

Select INSTCM.INF in the \Tools\MTSutil folder on the Windows 98 Second Edition CD. Right-click INSTCM.INF, choose "Install".

If this doesn't help, you may want to give us a little more information about your computer, operating system, Internet Explorer version, and what the problem is. Maybe we've got some ideas on what's causing the problem.

Hope this helps.'
