Wusb54gv4 has caused an error in <unknown>.Wusb54gv4 will now close.

Wusb54gv4 has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL.

I have already reinstall my windows but I am still having this problem. Can anyone pls help?

How "stock" is this machine?

And is it free from spyware?

For instance, a firewall could have been installed, but with so little to work with, nothing but questions.

After reading your reply, I went to run a search for spyware and found some infected items and have quarantine them.

As for firewall, I did not install anything.I tried to reinstall the network adapter but i am still having the error messages.

What are the things that I should look out for or what are the information that I should provide?

Sorry, but I must be blunt.

I re-read your posts and nowhere do you tell what Linksys product you have. I can't guess this and it's far too much work to dig out that it could be a WUSB54G Wireless-G USB Network Adapter.

The Driver Date is 9/3/2004 and Driver File Size is 6.7 MB.

The Driver Version is 1.0.8.0 and not 4.

As it stands, I can't help you since you have kept details to yourself. Not a word about the host machine or apparently the product you added.

Sorry, but I dropped hints more than once and with all kindness write this in hope you can spill the beans.

How about a list then?

1. The make and model of the USB device?

(I know the make, but humor me)

2. A little about the host machine. Make/model, OS and who installed the OS.
