I did a quick search and didn't come across a previous thread with this in it, so here goes...
Recently got talked into my first build. It went well, right up to the part where software had to be installed. I took the system in to a repair shop and they managed to get WinXP installed where I couldn't.
Got the system home tonight and I can't get sound off the motherboard or a seperate card. Every time I load the drivers/software i get this message: "Error loading streamci. This specific module could not be found."
I contacted ASUS support and they had me download a new driver. On the install got the same exact message.
Now, I am no expert when it comes this tech stuff. So, if you have a fix please put it down in laymens terms with easy to follow instructions.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
