by islandporgy / December 12, 2007 8:25 AM PST

When I first open some sites from my favorites like Yahoo Mail I get a error message Stating

Error Signature
AppName: iexplore.exe Appver: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: Urlmon.dll
Modver: 6.0.2900.3231 Offset: 0003b5ce

I just updated my computer from Microsoft update and one off the updates is bellow. I just started getting the error messages today 12/12/2007.

This is happening on both my Computer which was updated today.

How can I unistall that update to see if that is the issue.

Two ways...

1.) Check Add/Remove Programs...an entry should have been automatically created, letting you uninstall it like a normal program.

2.) Perform a System Restore to earlier in the day or the day prior, effectively removing the update.

Followed your suggestions ?

I followed your suggestion, did not find any updates in AD Remove.
I did a system restore that did not work and I did it on both computer and it did not help.
It has to be the bunch off updates I installed today, because the problems with IE happened just a little after the updates.
I just reinstalled XP on both computers a week ago had know problems untill today.
It only happens when I go to favorites to open a browser.
I just noticed I have issues with real player when I open it up that never happened before today. I do not send error messages to microsoft but I enabled that feature so Microsoft knows about the issue.

Any other suggestion would good.

Thank You

It was an update

I put a check in the Ad Remove program that said show updates it did. I should have done one at a time to see which one caused the problem There were seven updates for 12/12/2007 I uninstalled them all.
Now to install them back one at a time to find out which one caused the problem.
I would let you know when I find out which one it was.

Thank You Very Much:
