Mar 3, 2018 6:53PM PST

Currently using huawei nova 2i with emui 5.1 and everytime i try to download large apps error code 495 alway shows up. I tried clearing cache on play store and play service, tried force stop, uninstall updates, reset app preferences, usinv vpn even tried factory reset and yet error code 495 still shows up.
It only shows up on large apps and usually when im about 70%+ in to the download. Anyone know what im missing?

Clarification Request
Where are these apps coming from?

First the phone looks very nice as to RAM and memory.
https://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_nova_2-8672.php shows 4GB RAM (ample!) and 64GB internal.

Since you did a factory reset my thoughts are you MUST use the Google Play Store and do this only on WiFi.

I wonder.

I did have a client with download issues and they claimed they had done a factory reset but they left out they were installing an antivirus first. Once we factory reset one more time, and then left out their choice of anitvirus, it all worked out.

What is this "default one"???

What is "phonr manager" as well? That's nothing I've run into so far.

Keep in mind that this error has lots of priors if you google it. Here I'll keep to my few encounters and what we found.
