error back up & game crashing

Hey,

I've got a problem when i try to make a back up from my windows 10, this error comes then: error 0x800703ED

My second problem is:
i installed rome total war from cd to computer, then i tried to play it, no reaction..
how can i fix those problems?

That error might depend on what program you use to make the backup and to what medium you backup. After all, uploading a file to Dropbox with Chrome is quite something else as burning a folder to CD with Nero.

Does that CD say it's compatible with Windows 10 and does your hardware meet the minimum sysrtem requirements?

i just tried to make a back up on a extern hardware (HDD), i first formated it, when i want to copy something on it, it is possible but when i try to make a back up via my system settings, then the pc showed me that there was a problem, the error above

i bought the game a few years ago, but it was compatibel with windows 7, which normaly should be possible for windows 10, no?
and my pc is normaly good enough for the game, cuz i bought a professional game pc, which is fast enough. some games are possible to be played but some others not.. like for example ''empire earth'' -> i open the game, and when i start to play it, first it shocks and after a minute it crashes xs
