Nov 20, 2011 9:51AM PST

Hi all.
At times when I click on an email in my "in" box I am presented with an error message stating that there was a error of some kind and could not be opened. I click on it again and the emails opens without any problme.

My OS is Win7 Ultimate

Hi all.
Sorry about the delay in the reply. There is no code to the error displayed.
This is the the message:
"A problem occurred whilst trying to open this message. A problem has occurred -Please try again > OK button<"

I click the O.K. button and all loads as it should. While this is no biggie, I could do without it if at all possible.

Regards

Windows Live Mail _A problem has occurred -Please try again

I had this too. I ran CCleaner which didn't help, tried to run a repair on Windows Live Essentials (on the control panel) which didn't either. I tried to uninstall and re-install the mail account with no joy and eventually ran a full system restore (All programs>Accessories>System Tools> System Restore). i was told it was caused by a communication error between WLM and a Windows or Software update (probably a language incompatibility.

The system restore won't affect any of your files, documents, pictures etc.

And is the only thing I found that would work. good luck
