Hello,
Can anyone offer suggestions for erasing the hard drive on my iMac? I'm selling it in four days and need to erase asap.

Answer
Erasing a hard Drive.

You can simply remove your hard drive from your iMac and install it into any other Mac or PC. When you turn on the other Mac or PC, the computer should recognize the additional drive. Since I am more familiar with a PC, click on "My Computer" ....... then right click on this drive, select format. This will erase everything on the hard drive.
I am sure a Mac computer will easily reformat a hard drive also
