Resetting the Epson Service Life Counter
Jun 6, 2006 10:12AM PDT

Try this:
Download the SSC Service Utility from this website:
http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml

1.Install the SSC Service Utility on your computer.
2.Run SSC Service Utility.
3.When it pops up, click on the ?Configuration? tab and select your printer in both ?installed printers,? and ?Printer Model?
4.Click the x in the upper right hand corner of the window to close it.
5.Right click on the SSC Service Utility icon (a printer with a little red mark in the upper right hand corner) in the Windows task tray
6.Pick: ''Protection Counter''
7.Click on ?Reset Protection Counter?
8.When it asks, ?Have you replaced your waste ink pad?? pick, "Yes."
9.Turn your printer off and turn it back on.

You should be good to go.
