I know of Hamrick so try that. Trying is free so you can know if it works.
"Although Epson does not offer a 64-bit driver for your product, there is a 3rd party solution available from a company called Hamrick. For additional information on Hamrick and their VueScan software, please visit hamrick.com. Note: Hamrick's VueScan software does require purchase and is not supported by Epson."
I have scanned even till today around 6000 35mm negative film picture very effectively with Epson 2580 and negative auto loader on an actual MAC High Sierra with original program provided by Epson in 2008. It seems instead totally blocked when I try to scan photos . Has someone found the same issue and possibly how to solve this ? The software seems fine and probably there is some hidden set up for picture scanning . The scanner starts and then blocks just at beginning of picture scanning , which seems strange as perfectly works with negative film autoloader. I case I could also install the sw on another windows 10 64 , or in VMware win 7-64 that I have on the Mac, but seems that the win driver that I found are even not starting scanning.
Thanks and regards
