Epson 2200 CFS/CIS for photographer

Mar 7, 2005 5:43AM PST

I bought an Epson 2200 printer. I have been very happy with it.

I have been using Espon cartridges, but would like to explore aftermarket continuous flow or continuous supply systems that defray the cost of printing.

after narrow down few selection, I found InkRepublic.com is the one providing spongeless solution for Epson printer.

If anyone has experience using one from InkRepublic.com

It is highly recommended by many photographers:

I would not look to the vendor's web site for 'testimonials'

Have you ever heard of any of these people? They don't sound very impressive to me, but I don't know the names of well known photographers.

I would want independent tests of the ink performance and longevity. Does the vender supply profiles for various ink/paper combinations? The 2200 does a great job with the proper ink and paper, and comes with the correct profiles. Cutting corners sounds like an invitation to problems. Many people want to save money and get what they pay for.

you can easily find out these people's website or even you can give this system a try.

Epson's cartridge and ink are good, however, they are just way to expensive.
