How Stuff Works

Tech priest - Wookiepedia!
Wookiepedia is my "joke entry" its a star wars wiki, need to know the colour (or color) of that guy's lightsaber, first, you should know already, youre a geek! Secondly, wookiepedia is great for this sort of stuff, and is handy in quizzes involving star wars! Now my real entry is how stuff works, which tells stuff works! then there's the mobile wikipedia,Wapedia, also great for quizzes.

You guys did a whole podcast on geek shows, but the one show where the characters are literally supposed to be THE stereotypical geeks was not even mentioned. One of my favorite new shows is "The Big Bang Theory."
I saw the pilot on iTunes (for free) and got hooked on it's kind of goofy plot. It's actually a really simple storyline, but the sheer geeky-sciency banter that goes on really makes me laugh. This is partially because I feel that I am one of the few people I know who would actually get the jokes they make. Sure this is more on the "science geek" side of things, but as a budding microbiologist who loves to read about particle physics...that's me! Anyway, I hope you do make mention of the show so that it at least gets the chance to fail (as it invariably will) on it's own merits and not from being on right after Chuck....

Thanks a bunch,
Jimmy from VA

Hi Rafe. I just listened to your podcast on Online Finances, and want to say that Quicken 99 has been very good to me. The caveat is that I use it solely as an electronic register and do not use any online features. It is the only app that I religiously back up (I use and SD card) and it runs on Windows XP just fine (knock on wood). I don't know if it will work on Vista but I won't update to Vista as long as I can work with XP.

Just my two cents. Love the podcast.
