Entourage on my MacBook question

I run Entourage on my MacBook. For the past few weeks, when I open the Entourage application, the screen opens up as though I intend to send a new email (i.e., a blank screen ready for me to indicate a person's email address). It hadn't done this before, and I suspect I must have inadvertently changed some setting, but I can't figure out how to change it back. Any suggestions?
