Entertainment laptop

I am looking for an entertainment laptop. I am a student so I want to take it to class, nothing too heavy and I don't need a huge screen. Also, I don't do any gaming. I would like to have have some media center features i.e. being able to hook up laptop to my stereo and television and control features with a remote. Also, I would like to be able to record TV, but it is not absolutley necessary. I store all my songs on itunes, so I am thinking about a powerbook, however it seems to lack other multimedia capabilities. Anyone have any suggestions?
