Question

ENTERING E-MAIL ADDRESSES INTO OUTLOOK EXPRESS

Jun 6, 2012 7:43AM PDT

Hello,

Is there some way to transfer the e-mail address that apears in the FROM line and the multiple e-mail addresses that appear in the TO line into the address book?

Thank you all for any help you can send me.

John

CLARIFICATION TO MY ORGININAL QUESTION
Jun 7, 2012 1:21AM PDT

I am asking about the e-mail addresses that are displayed in a FOREWARDED message. I know that I can add then to my address book one address at a time.

But is there some way to transfer these addresses as a 'group' ?

Perhaps copy to WORD or EXCEL and then read them into the address book.

Have You Tried?
Jun 7, 2012 10:44AM PDT

I've got OE 6 on this XP machine and if I open message, then RIGHT click on the name of sender/receiver in the "From" or "To" line, I see an "Add to Address" selection. Is it there for you?. Unfortunately, because I don't use OE any more, I only have messages where there was ONE sender or receiver.. I'm not sure it will work when there are multiple senders or receivers.. It's worth a check if you haven't already.

Hope this helps.

Well, you can import csv-files with the right column names into the address book. And you can use Excel to make that csv-file.

But I think it takes more time than just copy/paste each address.
