Question

Enhance Font Readability on Web Pages

Sep 12, 2017 11:08AM PDT

Ever since KB4034674 Win10 update, fonts on most web sites have become less sharp, less bold, more "frayed". How does a non-techie fix this?

Some solutions depending on your browser

For Firefox:

Press the Alt key to temporarily bring up the traditional Firefox menus. On the menu at the top, click View, then go to Zoom.
Select Zoom Text Only. This makes the controls only change the size of text; not images.

For Edge:
Move the mouse cursor to the upper-right corner of the screen and click "More actions"
The icon looks like a horizontal line made up of three dots
Click "Settings"
Scroll down and find the "Reading" section
Click on the dropdown menu beneath "Reading view style"
. Click one of the options
.Click on the dropdown menu beneath "Reading view font size"
Click an option
.set it to "Small", "Medium", "Large", or "Extra Large
Click off the "SETTINGS" menu to close it

For Chrome:
Click Chrome menu on top right corner
Select Settings
Scroll down and select show advance settings
Scroll down again and go to web content section
Here you can change the font size.
