End Programs

Feb 13, 2004 5:45AM PST

When shutting down winXP HE I keep getting the message that Internet Exp is not responding and I can either wait for the program to end or hit cacel and that program ends.
Then another pop up comes up and says program " Connection Tray" not responding and either wait or click cancel to end the program.
This has just started and I can not explain why.
Thanks to any one who can help me

Hi Bob
I did what you said and installed ad adware and ran the test. I found some cookies that i deleted as as well as one program from wildtangent updater which i uninsalled because i do not remember istalling that.

It found some registry keys and a few other items but nothing outstanding. The messages are still coming up .
Any other ideas.
Thanks

It's spyware and your choice to keep such stuff. The five tools usually find most stuff, but if you do less than the five scans or decide to let pests reside on the machine, then the effects are as you experience.
