End of Space Shuttle missions...

At the last few minutes before touchdown of orbiter Atlantis this morning, my feeling was "awww, c'mon - 5 more minutes! 5 more minutes!?" The Shuttle program has had its ups and downs, but it has been an impressive trip. Happy

I'm really glad to have shared what I did with this community and that y'all were interested in my comments. I'm no longer in the space industry at the moment, but as the private space industry and any new programs take shape, I look forward continuing to send along more good comments, thoughts, and insights.

Warmest wishes and blessings,
Shalin

It's been a difficult ride at times, but for 30 years the shuttles captivated the world.

Sadly it was time to see them retire, but congratulations Shuttles, and congratulations America.

Congratulations to all the personnel that deserves credit for shuttle success in general. Hope remains that a new era of spaceflight will start shortly. Can't even imagine what will the future bring, but it'll be one crazy ride no doubt Grin

It must be so nostalgic watching its last
minutes of operation... It has served the world well. All the crew and staff
who have been involved with it in its time deserve props.. Kudos!
