Encrypt?

Hi everyone,
How can an user(not administrator )hide his documents in a PC with Windows 2000 or XP ?

mean hide them so they are not visible in explorer or so that no one else can read them.
Maybe if you tell us what you are trying to do we can suggest alternatives eg tell us what type of files and who else uses the computer and what other account users are you trying to hide them from.

Use google.com to research "EFS". But every case so far of "I forgot the password" has meant loss since no one wants to pay up for recovery by http://www.lostpassword.com

An EFS protected file can't be decrypted by "administrator" (unless they did the encryption, ie own it).

Save the data away from the hard drive

USB flash or portable drives are cheap and easy to use.
