Encountering lots of errors... A little help please

I've been forced to use another computer because my other computer keeps encountering errors. It just happened overnight. I can't even run IE on it. The errors are as follows:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe
abnormal program termination

WJView Error
Unable to locate system
class:java/lang/Object

Some solutions that I looked up weren't applicable because my OX is Windows XP. Any sort of advice on this matter would be very much appreciated.
