Question

Embedding web links in Mail message

Nov 28, 2011 11:12PM PST

Is there a one-step method for inserting a link into a message? The only way I've found is to copy and paste the link from the browser (Firefox) address bar. This inserts the link into the message but as plain text. Then I need to highlight the text of the link and right-click to Add link... and paste the link text into the link box. Seems awfully klutzy. I know that I can drag and drop the link into the message, but that involves having to have both windows visible simultaneously. Comments/suggestions?

Thank you. Worked like a charm. I got fooled by the fact that the link did not appear as a hyperlink visually in the outgoing message.
