Embedding Information in My JPEG Images

Jan 30, 2005 10:54PM PST

Hi

I have a huge collection of digital images that I want to organise. I've been considering using Kodak Easyshare software as I really like the the way you can specify keywords. However the only thing holding me back is that the Kodak software doesn't permanently link the keywords or text to the jpeg files. You see I don't want to spend hundreds of hours organising my collection, only to have a system failure and lose all my notes and keywords I've entered.

Is there any software out there that can embed this information in the jpeg file, like an mp3 tag?

Thanks
