embedded addresses, ATT vs. outlook express

by dibbo / May 3, 2005 11:19 AM PDT

My problem is with embedded email addresses. I have ATT DSL service and use the ATT Message Center entirely for all my email. Whenever I click on an embedded email address, such as on cnet newsletter '', outlook express automatically opens. It is then necessary to return to the embedded address and manually write it down and then enter it in my ATT address book. This is a minor pain that I hope there is a simple work around for. I have tried Att Help, which is it's one weakness, to no avail. I have learned a great deal in the last 6 months reading the forums, although not much time in this particular one. A search including the above subject does not turn up anything. Also, I use Firefox as my browser. Thanks in advance for any ideas. Dibbo

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
