General discussion

embedded addresses, ATT vs. outlook express

May 3, 2005 11:19AM PDT

My problem is with embedded email addresses. I have ATT DSL service and use the ATT Message Center entirely for all my email. Whenever I click on an embedded email address, such as on cnet newsletter 'messageboards@cnet.com', outlook express automatically opens. It is then necessary to return to the embedded address and manually write it down and then enter it in my ATT address book. This is a minor pain that I hope there is a simple work around for. I have tried Att Help, which is it's one weakness, to no avail. I have learned a great deal in the last 6 months reading the forums, although not much time in this particular one. A search including the above subject does not turn up anything. Also, I use Firefox as my browser. Thanks in advance for any ideas. Dibbo
