Question

Emails get opened in a new window & deleting 2 at a time.

Feb 14, 2013 5:34AM PST

When clicking on an email it will open in a new window automatically and when I delete an email the one I delete goes as well as the next email in order. If I delete from the box using the right click method it deletes correctly. Both these problems are happening only around 70% of the time. I all so get not responding quite often with the screen flashing between windows until it fixes itself.
There are 2 email accounts for our windows live mail and this is happening with only one which is the default account. I've been all through the settings and haven't had any luck fixing the issue.
There are no known viruses or issues with the computer.
Running Windows 7 64 bit.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as it's becoming quite annoying. Thanks in advance.

It varies with Windows but create a new user and see if the problem follows. Microsoft's answers on this one have not been conclusive and with all the malware out there, that's partially why the uninstall/reinstall.

I'd consider ThunderBird too.

Thanks, just tried it but no luck. still doing the same thing. Just had a look at Thunderbird, downloaded but it's saying my email server is not encrypted for outgoing messages, Not real sure about that exactly. Will look further into it. Thank you for the suggestion. Regards, Barry.
