Emailing problems

I have had AOL , Earthlink and now I have MSN when I try to send a picture from my computer files C drive my computer reverts to earthlink and nothing is sent. I have deleted everything I can find that has to do with earthlink but still the same problem. Also how do I change the name on my sent mail

What if you open a new message in MSN and attach the picture that way? Have you tried that? My computer reverts to MSN (which I don't even have) if I don't go through my Yahoo account.

How are you trying to send these?

What email program are you using?

You say you are using AOL. Is this correct?

Try this: go to the start menu. Find on the right column "Set Program Access and Defaults" Click on that and check to see that the settings are what you want. I had to do that when I switched from MSN to Thunderbird as my default email program.
