After 2+ decades I'm no longer a customer of COX email service. Though, this wasn't my choice entirely. COX issued on their website that effective 8/29/19 email service would no longer be offered to new customers. The rub: they also decided not to repair "difficult" email problems, e.g., send mail outside of cox.net domain, for existing customers in a "timely" manner. That did it for me, so on 10/20 I purchased MS Office 365 Home and signed up with Outlook.com for email. Microsoft fully supports email on web and desktop clients. Further, service calls are handled by techs who are knowledgeable and very committed to solving customer issues.
