There are now close to 100 different email apps for Apple.

You might not get an answer from a member that hits what you use today. Tell more about which email app you are trying to fix.

Re: mail doesn't wrap

I don't think it's related to Flash? Do you?

Indeed, some e-mails do that some e-mail programs. I've never understood why, but if it's only one message or messages from a particular sender, I don't care that much. I just copy the text to a text editor or word processor and then usually it's readable.

If it happens with all e-mails, even the ones you sent to yourself, something is wrong.

Don't think it's Flash either...

I ended up copying to text editor, but I don't want to do that every message as it's a real time eater. Thanks for the quick solution.

You didn't tell much.

So let me repeat the quesions more explicitely:

Send a mail to yourself that wraps as you type it.
- Is it OK after being sent in Sent Items?
- Is it OK after being received in the Inbox?
- Is it OK if you look at it in your e-mailproviders webmail?

That are 3 questions, so please suipply 3 answers.

Wrap tests

My received is wrapped, my sent is unwrapped, and email providers copy is wrapped. This is just bizarre. Why would sent to unwrapped and not the others? Thank you for your time!

That's what folk found w/Mail Version 7.3 (1878.6)

I looked into this and Mail Version 7.3 (1878.6) of OSX Version 10.9.5 did indeed do that. As such I stopped looking for a fix since it's now an older version.

That can infuriate folk that don't like changes. They just want it fixed.

That version appears to do that in certain cases.

Wrap investigation...

Was just able to reply to Kees ?s. Could this be a bug? I'm having 'difficulties' with internet providers. I do upgrade regularly, but not El Capitan. Thank you for your time.

most common cause

are hyperlinks of very long strings of characters. "Wrap" seems to want a space at times to work right in some programs. So, check that message and see if such is on it.

No hyperlinks in email. Just received another email from the same source, and it wrapped. Curious...
