email signout

I went to my email account in Yahoo this morning and could not sign out. I noticed a key in the address bar. Also, the spam would not delete. What has happened and what can I do about it. Last night while watching a webinar and having Trade Navigator open, the security on this computer showed a message that an "unknown publisher" was trying to access this computer. Could the email problem be related to this problem?
