Have a sky mail account and check thru Mail [3.6] on my mac, the header shows my email address and in front of that my name, accept a large majority of my emails carry a different name in front, same surname but a different christian name.? Sorted it, somehow my email address became attached to one of my address book listings as a nickname so showed when receiving mail.

The header is sent by the sender and composed by the senders e-mail program. It's not shown normally, I think. Contact the sender and ask him how you appear in his address book.

That's what I thought , many show my correct name or the sender nickname for me the one's that don't, usually come from places like ebay, local council etc or replies to my email to them [first contact].
