Email link pops hundred of windows

Jul 30, 2004 4:07AM PDT

Whenever I click an email link on the net, IE pops "hundred" of windows and I have to re-boot to get rid of them. Email from Outlook does not produce the problem, only on a webpage. Scans show nothing for viruses. Thanks.

use spyware removing tool. a link was made to your email file so every time you open the file or the directory the link opens like a virus linking your computer to another. also try using pop up stopper program

While I would be clean with Adaware, Spybot, Cwshredder, Housecall, I'd get BHODEMON to be sure of the BHOs the machine has.

Also, it may be time to move to something like EDEXTER Outlook Email is treachorous.

1. Please note that just above the text editor (where you enter a question on the forum) is the following paragraph, and if certain information is not present in your question, our reply may not be of much help:

Tip: If you are asking for help to troubleshoot a computer-related problem, please be sure to include all the necessary information (ie: operating system, model number, hardware, software, etc) that will help others identify your problem for a speedy resolution.

2. Reading this, it sounds like Messenger rather than anything else. However, just stating "IE pops hundred" . . without something more concrete to get an idea, don't know.
