Question

Email Header corrupts after opening in WLM

May 26, 2013 1:07AM PDT

A few seconds after I open an email in Windows Live Mail, the Header corrupts into little vertical lines and squiggles, so you can't see who the email is to, from or what the subject is about. It does not corrupt the rest of the email. Why does this happen and what can be done (if anything) to fix it? Is there a better email client program out there to use that is not complicated so my elderly mom can use it without problem? I am really hating the proprietary microsoft programming.

This is the third or fourth time in a week that I have to write" "WLM seems to be a program with many issues and not much support".

Then follows the advice to switch to Thunderbird from Mozilla. It's free and it resembles Outlook Express, so there's a good chance your mother can learn to use it.
