Question

Email from Yahoo?

Mar 20, 2020 12:16PM PDT

Twice I have gotten an email, supposedly from Yahoo, saying, "Are you trying to sign in? If so, use this code to finish signing in".
It has the purple Yahoo icon, which is what made me curious.
The ISP is 77.238.177.190, which shows to be Yahoo! UK Services Limited.
So has someone tried to sign in to my account? I have not tried to re-sign in and could not.
Has anyone saw this before?

The baddies try to log into everyone's gmail and yahoo accounts. Just yesterday I got the password reset code for my email account. Just another failed attempt by someone.

No, you can't find them or stop it. You can slow them down by not posting your email address in the clear on forums and more.

Email me at 7dogs@dogwalker.com for example is a bad idea.
