Resolved Question

Email from Microsoft

by mcgmtg / March 17, 2015 6:28 AM PDT

Is Microsoft sending emails to its Live subscribers asking them to upgrade to Windows 10? A friend received one and |I was wondering if it is legit.

Sorry for the scare not that there isn't crap out there, I had the person forward the email to me and it is a legitimate email from Microsoft, it is only a newsletter from them. Nothing more.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
