Question

email data extraction?

Don't even know if such a product exists but if it does I would like to know what it's called and if there is a free version. Over the years I have accumulated tons of emails between myself and certain people but have not deleted it because I have always planned on copying the content and pasting it into a Word file that I can look back on. Of course, that is extremely time-consuming. Wondering if there is something that can go into emails from a certain contact for instance, pull out all the content, allow me to copy it, so that I can delete all those emails.

I don't know. I don't even know if such a tool exists. It would be for Gmail and Yahoo.

Web Mail would be a problem.

And the usual would have us import all the mail to Thunderbird so we can do such things. But hey, I'm just a programmer that sees Web Mail as "a problem."

Re: extract email data

In Thunderbird it would all be manual work. I recommend MS Outlook. In MS Outlook you can write your own programs in VBA to automate it as much as you want, including full support for MS Word.
However, MS Office is not free.
