I'll just give you a tip if you want to have this done on the cheap. Head to your local college and ask professors for students to do this. Profs farm out the students and the students do the work and get credits in school. Not for free as you provide work or web space but this is a small secret to getting custom done when you don't have the time.

Hi everyone,
I'm after some kind of timer based countdown software that resets upon receiving an email or the timer is manually reset.
The reason is our company has employees that work in remote locations and the staff are required to call-in/phone the office to let us know everything is ok.
At the moment this is done manually, so the remote worker calls the office or uses a satellite device to send an email, the person in the office then records this and the remote worker has a few more hours before they need to "call-in" again.
Ideally there is some software out there, where we can input all the staff and every time a "call-in" email is received the timer resets. If the timer was to expire then an email would be sent to someone else to notify them of the problem.
I've googled around but can't find anything, has anyone here come across something like this?
