I am not exactly clear on what you are asking.
Using Vista and Windows Mail is there a way to set up a contact list for email where you can click on the name and the email form appears? Thanks

When I used OE 6, all the names from the address book were in a column on the left side of the screen. When I wanted to email somebody, I just clicked on the name and the email form came up with the "to" field already filled in. With the new mail program that came with Vista, I have had to manually type in the name or copy and paste - which is no BIG deal, but not as convenient as before.
Looks like they could have done something better... re-typing addresses sometimes results in errors. ![]()

Create a HTML file with that and use the emailto hyperlink. Example:
mailto:someone@there.com
More at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/URI_scheme where you can see the syntax of mailto.

There is a tab at the top of the page that will access the address book. Then you can select your address. Not as convenient as before. I too, have been looking for a more efficient way to access addresses.
