I just look up your account. Looks like everything is correct as you stated --your account is currently registered with *****@outlook.com so your email change took place and you are good to go.
I'll have to have our registration team look into that email language as it will be confusing if it is switched around.

I was changing my email address from xxx.inbox.com to xxx.outlook.com. Thought it did change I received the following email so I can verify the change.
You have recently requested your email address be updated from firstname.lastname@example.org to email@example.com...
Note it has the addresses switch around. The email said I was changing from outlook to inbox when it was really the other way around.
