In Outlook, goto Tools > Options and click the Security tab.
In the Security area under Security Zones, click the "Zone Settings" button. you will be warned that you are about to change security settings for IE, Outlook and Outlook Express. Click OK, and this will bring you to the IE Security Settings options.
Highlight the IE globe and click Custom Level, and in the new window scroll down to Downloads > Automatic Prompting for file downloads. If that is set to DIsable, try changing it to Enable.
I hope this solves your problem.
When I receive a picture as a attachment in email the program also asked if I wanted to open or save to disk. At the bottom of this security prompt is the box you check so that it does not ask anymore. I did this by mistake and can not get it back. I use Outlook as my email. Under "Tools" > "Options" > "Security" the Attachment Security is checked. How do I get the Security Prompt back?
Running 98se, IE 6, Microsoft Outlook
Thanks for any help
